Tony Swana

Tony Swana has been teaching Reebok Spinning Classes for the last six years.  His classes are established for all fitness levels.  He enjoys teaching spinning classes as well as cycling outdoors and uses that passion in his classes.  Tony creates an environment that allows the students to release themselves from any negative stress in a high aerobic - low impact workout while enjoying themselves with great friends and music.

Along with cycling, Tony enjoys running all types of distances as well as hiking.  He has run nine marathons including Boston from 2004-2008.  He has completed four different sprint triathlons, excelling in the running and cycling aspects and surviving the swimming portions.  He has also cycled up Mount Washington over the last three years and ran up it as well in 2008.  He pedaled his bike across the country from Oregon to New Hampshire in 2003.

Along with his active lifestyle in physical fitness, Tony has been a member of the United States Air Force for the past 23 years.  He currently serves with the 104th Fighter Wing out of Westfield, Massachusetts.  He is employed as an Avionics Flight Line Supervisor, assisting in maintaining the F-15 Aircraft.  His dedication and discipline are a prime contributor to his classroom technique dosed with a lighter side of somewhat comedic styles.
He also enjoys such water sports as skiing and kayaking, but if you saw him swim, you would understand why he likes being on top of the water rather than submerged in it!

Tony has lived in Holyoke for the last 16 years and was previously stationed at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in the Active Duty Air Force where he started his Military Career working on the A-10 Aircraft.
