Megan Howe

Megan completed her 300-hour teacher training in Anusara Yoga with Todd Norian in 2006, and has received further training in yoga therapeutics for healing and preventing injury.  Megan has taught in both the Pioneer Valley and the Boston area, working with groups of diverse ages, cultural backgrounds, and physical abilities.

Megan studied art history and philosophy at Smith College, and her professional background includes work with non-profit organizations and educational institutions.  She studies biological sciences in order to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the human body, and is working toward becoming a nurse.

Megan’s classes combine dynamic flows with longer holdings of postures, bringing students to a deepened understanding of alignment principles that strengthen, open, and protect the body.  Classes include breath work and meditation for calming the mind, inversions and core work for challenging the body, and humor and inspiration toward cultivating the heart.  Megan strives to be inclusive and supportive in her teaching, and delights in watching her students grow through yoga.  Megan can be reached via e-mail at meganlovesyoga@gmail.com.
